Plate Pattern: Carefully chosen patterns press the media through the channels in the heat transmission area of each plate, significantly impacting heat transfer efficiency. By opting for a higher pressure drop, the required heat transmission area can be minimized. Some designs achieve lower turbulence with minimal pressure drop, while others achieve maximum turbulence with a higher pressure drop. Deep channels are particularly effective for handling high-viscosity media and substances prone to fouling.
